Heartland Music is headed by Alice Gentenaar (Alec). Alec is an instrumental teacher with decades of experience in teaching individual, small group and ensemble lessons. She is also choral director for the Commonwealth Children's Choir and Heartland Voices. Alec champions a calm and welcoming approach to teaching that takes the time to build a strong foundational knowledge that can be carried in to all genres of music.
